Something good !!
Psalm 23:6
Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of my life and O will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
“Something good” in biblical terms means:
– Not blemished
– Fair
– Honorable
These qualifications of something good in biblical terms is confirmed by Philippians 4: 8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report: if there be any virtue, if there be any praise, think on these things.
The verse above says:
The goodness ( kindness) and mercy(compassion) of God will remain with us and follow us all the days of our lives.
If all the virtues mentioned above in Philippians 4:8 and Psalm 23:6 are ours through Jesus then certainly something good is bond to happen to every Christian.
Ephesians 2:10
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
This verse from the new testament says we, Christians were made by God to be His hands to perform good works or deeds here on earth.
Whilst the goodness and mercy of God is abundant in your life, you are also expected to be a blessing to others
