Solid rock on which I stand!!!
Proverbs 18:10
The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and are safe

The verse above says the name of the Lord is a source of protection or solid rock on which we can stand. When we call upon His name in the time of trouble, He keeps us safe.

When you say “Solid rock on which I stand” it means Christ is your firm foundation. Your life is built or based on the plan for salvation which offers all humans redemption from sin and the grip of the evil one.

After accepting the gift of salvation your life is based on teachings from the Bible

– You study the word day and night and obey or do what it says for good success ( Joshua 1:8)

– You pray without ceasing because the Bible says our adversary the evil one prowls around like a roaring lion seeking whom He may devour ( 1 Thessalonians 5:17)

– You live by faith to please God because anyone that comes to God must believe that He is and is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him ( Hebrews 11:6)

Matthew 19:26
……With men it is impossible but with God all things are possible

This verse from the new testament says with Christ as the solid rock on which you stand, even the impossible with humans is possible.

1. Trust in God and do what is right
