Show us your glory oh God
Judges 6:33-40
And Gideon said to God, if I found favor in your sight give me a sign …..

When you say “show us your glory oh God” you are asking God to show an abundance or overflow of His power in your life and that of others.

In the verse above Gideon is asking God to show an abundance or overflow of His power to confirm that he had found favor in His sight and He would help him fulfill his assignment.

Scripture says in Exodus 33:18-23, that Moses also asked God to show him His glory as a confirmation of His presence and power to help him fulfill his assignment.

All Christians have an assignment of spreading the gospel and winning souls for the kingdom of God. Most of us lack the compassion of saving souls from hell ‘s fire and perform this assignment lackadaisically ( any how with no urgency)

It is important that each christian asks God to show him/ her his glory like Moses and Gideon did to motivate us to fulfill our assignment with urgency.

John 16:33
I am telling you these things that in me you will have peace. In this world you will have tribulations but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world

This verse from the new testament is warning us that though soul winning is an assignment from God, the “world”, unbelievers will try to frustrate our efforts.

We need not give up, but keep pushing the agenda in spite of opposition and discouragement. God will help us overcome our challenges

1. Fulfill your assignment of winning souls with urgency.
