Isaiah 61:1
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me. For He has anointed me to preach the good news …..

” Set me on fire” means to be filled with divine passion and zeal for God.

The verse above says God has anointed us to preach the good news. The anointing rekindles our zeal or sets us on fire for God

Scripture also says in Acts 1:8

But you shall receive power after the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnessed both in Jerusalem and all Judea

According to the verse above it is the Holy Spirit which gives us power , and sets us on fire to do God’s work

Matthew 5:8
Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God

This verse from the new testament says those who have a pure heart will be blessed by God. The blessing of God empowers us or set us on fire to preach the word

Accept the gift of salvation today ( Romans 10:9-10) and receive power to be a good witness for Christ
