Sanctuary for you!!
Psalm 91:1
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty

The secret place of the most high represents the presence of God. Those who dwell on the presence of God are sheltered and protected from all harm

A sanctuary is

– A place of safety

– A natural reserve

– A holy place

The Bible says as Christians our bodies are the temple or dwelling place of God. In other words we are the sanctuary of God.

As a sanctuary of God we need to live to please God. Our prayers each day should be to dwell constantly in the presence of God. Furthermore, we should also pray
like King David prayed in Psalm 51

Create in me a clean heart oh Lord
And renew a right spirit within me
Cast me not away from thy presence….

A prayer like the one above will help keep us as worthy sanctuaries of God.

Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present yourself as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

This verse from the new testament shows us how to be a worthy dwelling place of God ( sanctuary).

Live as a living sacrifice to God. Praying for the grace and strength to please Him in all we do
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Trust in God and do what is right

With Thanksgiving
I will be a living
Sanctuary for you
Prepare me Jesus!
Lord prepare me….
