Safety is of the Lord
Proverbs 21:31
The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the Lord
Safety is of the Lord means victory or being able to survive and win the battle comes from the Lord.
Ephesians 6:12
For we fight not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers…..
It is important to prepare for the battle. Putting on your armour or bullet proof jacket is also important but without God all these preparations would be useless.
The bible says unless the Lord builds the house, the builders or laborers labour in vain. (Psalm 127:1)
Without God we can do nothing.John 15:5. He provides the strength and energy we need and He also shields us from any form of destruction.
1 Thessalonians 5:6
Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober
The verse above is trying to say that we should not just relax or rest as others do but we should always be alert because our adversary the devil moves around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour ( 1 Peter 5:8)
Be alert at all times, watch and pray.

1. Read your bible and pray everyday.
