Rivers of joy!!
Habakkuk 3:18
Yet, I will rejoice in you my Lord. I will joy in the God of my salvation

“Rivers of joy” describes a situation where you are overwhelmed with happiness. Probably because you received an answer to your prayers or you received a great blessing from God

In the verse above, the Prophet Habakkuk had encountered so many misfortunes he describes in Habakkuk 3:17. But still he says he will rejoice and joy in the God of his salvation. Why?

He knew the Lord will make a way that will bring him great joy

Like 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says

In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you

He was rejoicing in the victory that God would give Him.

Philippians 4:4

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say rejoice

This verse from the new testament is also advising us to rejoice or be happy because that is the attitude that brings victory.

Accept the gift of salvation today ( Romans 10:9-10) and be overwhelmed with the blessings of the Lord

God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?

1. Pray for grace and strength to obey God’s commands always.
