Really BLESSED!!!!
Psalm 1:1-2
Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on His law day and night.

“Really blessed ” means highly favored of God. The passage above gives details on the kind of people who are blessed.

Such people stay away from any kind or form of evil and they love to study and obey the commandments of the Lord

The Bible also says in Psalm 119:105 that
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path

Meaning, the Psalmist’s life is ruled and directed by the word of God

Matthew 5:6
Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled

This verse from the new testament is a reaffirmation of the passage from the Psalms above.

If you delight or find pleasure in doing what the Lord requires ( hunger and thirst after righteousness) you will find favor with God and He will fill your life with good things

John 14:1 says
Let not your heart be troubled. Believe in God and believe also in me

Which means, do not worry or fret put your trust in God and in me ( Jesus)

You can put your trust in the Lord by accepting the gift of salvation ( Romans 10:9-10) and then you become joint heirs with Christ.

How can I apply the word to my life?

1. Pray for grace and strength to obey God’s commands always.
