Present your body as a living sacrifice
Isaiah 53:7
He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before it’s shearers is silent, so He opened not His mouth

Technically, everything presented as a sacrifice is dead or killed. It cannot respond to anything. If it is burning, it cannot move or talk just like the verse above describes how Jesus responded to His oppressors.

In my opinion, therefore, presenting your body as a living sacrifice to God means:
– You put all your effort into serving God
– No matter what it costs
– Even if you are tired, you still move on with the work of God
– You do not complain or react when you are rejected because you want to preach the gospel

You do all these things because you have sacrificed your life to be an ambassador for Christ.

Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service

The verse above also presents another scenario of being a living sacrifice. You abstain from sin, you are holy and always want to do what you know will please God.
God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1.Determine in your heart, and pray for God to help you live a life that is holy, pleasing and acceptable to Him

Prayer
Let this be your prayer

Lord prepare me
To be a sanctuary
Pure and holy
Tried and true
With thanksgiving
I will be a living
Sanctuary for you. Amen
