Plans for your welfare!!
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think towards you said the Lord. Thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you a future and a hope.

“Plans for our welfare” means God has the intention of giving us the desires of our hearts as we plan for the future.

This truth is reflected in the verse above. We need not fret or worry about the future because God has assured us He will give us the desires of our heart.

A perfect example of this in the bible can be found in Genesis 37 – Genesis 50 -the story of Joseph. God gave him a dream that he will become great. However, what happened in the next 15-20 years of his life gave no indication that the dream will come true.

He was betrayed, sold into slavery and ended up in prison though he was innocent. At the appointed time or in the fullness of time , God honored His promise to him. He became one of the greatest rulers in Egypt- a foreigner, a prisoner and a slave.

God can change your story no matter how bad it looks now because He has plans for your welfare. Keep trusting Him.

John 15:7
If you abide in me and my words abide in you. Ask whatever you will and it shall be done unto you

This verse from the new testament directs us on how to have our desires honored by God. We have to abide in Him and let His word abide in us.

Meaning, we have to obey God’s word in all we do.
Keep trusting God and obeying His commands.
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Trust in God and do what is right.

Prayer
Let this song be your confession and prayer

He can do it
Do it better for you
Far more than you can think
That he will ever do

He is the Lord
Is anything too hard for Him?
He is the Lord
He has said it
And surely He will do
Hold unto your faith
Your confession
All the days of your life
And you will see the hand of God
In your life
