People need the Lord!!
Isaiah 41:10
Fear not, for I am with you
Be not dismayed, for I am your God
I will strengthen you
I will help you
I will uphold you
With my victorious right hand

The phrase ” People need the Lord” emphasizes the fact that humans need the Lord to guide and protect them in all their dealings.

In the verse above, the Lord is assuring His people, Christians that He will strengthen us( give them the energy we need spiritually and physically), He will help us ( give us the grace we need) and uphold us with His victorious right hand (He will give us the victory we need)

Scripture also says in Psalm 23:1 that

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want or

The Lord is my shepherd I have everything I need.

The two verses quoted above is confirmation that the Lord is all we need as humans. He can provide everything we need. Indeed, people need the Lord

John 15:5
I am the vine the vine, you are the branches…. for without me, you can do nothing.

This verse from the new testament confirms what has been explained above. Without God we can do nothing.

Humans need the Lord:
-For salvation (John 3:16)

– Healing ( Isaiah 53:5)

– For direction ( Proverbs 3:5-6)

– For protection ( Psalm 27:1)
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. In the time of trouble or need remember to turn to the Lord.
