Our Sun and Shield!!
Psalm 84:11
For the Lord is a Sun and Shield. The Lord will bestow honor and favor on His own. No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly ( paraphrased)

” Our Sun and Shield” means God is our Guide and Protector. He gives us directions on what to do and protects us ( His children) from all danger.

Psalm 119: says

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path

Which means, when we need directions on what to do, God lights up our path with His word

Matthew 7:7
Ask and you shall receive. Seek and you will find. Knock and the door will opened unto you.

This verse from the new testament gives us a similar message to what is given above. Apart from finding direction in His word.

God can give us directions when we pray and ask for directions

Accept the gift of salvation today ( Romans 10:9-10) and have the privilege of having God as your personal guide and protector.
