Our help is in the Lord
Psalm 121:1-2
I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help? My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

There will is a song that says

Our help is in the name of the Lord
Our help is in the name Jesus of the Lord
For the Lord our God is mighty
Our help, our help
Our help is in the name of the Lord.

It is difficult today to find helpers or someone who will assist you to fulfill your duties in your ministry, circular job and your home.

Yet you cannot do everything alone. You need to turn to the Lord in prayer to help you find helpers who are genuine, sincere and honest.

Apart from the duties mentioned above you also need help from the Lord in order to overcome your challenges, trials and temptations.

The passage from the Psalms says when you turn to the Lord, He will help you.

Psalm 35:1-3 says
He contends with those who contend with me
And fights against those who fight against me
And He says to my soul
I am your deliverance (paraphrased)

Hebrews 13:6
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

This verse from the new testament also confirms God is our helper. Let’s keep trusting Him
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Call on the Lord whenever you need help.

Prayer
Faithful God, in thee have I trusted let me never be confounded.
