Our God REIGNS
Psalm 146:10
The Lord shall reign for ever, even thy God, Oh Zion, unto all generations
To reign is to rule with sovereign power and authority. Therefore, “Our God Reigns” means God rules over the world and has sovereign authority.
In actual fact, He created everything and has power over all other principalities and powers.
The verse above says God reigns forever over all things and for all generations.
Isaiah 40:17-18 reads
All nations before Him are as nothing; and they are counted to Him less than nothing, and vanity
To whom then will we liken God? Or what likeness will ye compare Him to.
God is above all, there is none like Him. Indeed our God reigns
Revelations 4:10-11
The four and twenty elders fall down before Him that sat on the throne, and worship Him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne saying, Thou art worthy Oh Lord, to receive glory, honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
This passage
from the new testament confirms that our God reigns. The heavenly beings never cease to praise and worship Him.
He is the God who has all:
– Power (Omnipotent)
– Knowledge (Omniscient)
– Presence and has the ability to be every where at the same time ( Omnipresent).

1. Like the heavenly beings, we also have to praise and worship God always because He reigns.
