Open the flood gates!!
Malachi 3:10
……and prove me now here with, saith the Lord of hosts, of I will not open you the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing, that there shall room enough to receive.

“Open the flood gates” means, God, open your storehouse of blessings. Pour out your grace, love, mercy and power .

What is required of us in order to receive blessings from God’s storehouse?

The first part of the verse above says we should bring our tithes ( 10 percent of your total monthly income) and other thanks offering into the house of the Lord ( church) so that there will be enough funds to do the work of God.

When we obey this command God pours out His blessings on us.

Scripture also says in Luke 6:38 that

Give , and it shall be given unto you, good measure pressed down shaken together running over shall men pour into your bosom…… when you give, give to the Lord ( paraphrased)

Meaning, if you want to receive blessings from God, learn to be a giver, not only to the church but to everybody you can help

Acts 2:17
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh….

This verse from the new testament gives another dimension or requirement for receiving blessings from the Lord.

God pours out His blessings or Spirit upon those He sends on assignments.

The second part of the verse above explains what “all flesh” means. The young, the old, our sons and daughters.

When the Spirit of the Lord falls on these people they will do extraordinary things.

Some will dream, others will see visions and others will prophesy. With the aim of preparing the world for the second coming of the Lord( This verse has an old testament version which is exactly the same ( Joel 2:28) the message is very important, it the theme and quotation, Youth Sanctified by Christ Mission is based on)
