None like YOU
Isaiah 40:25
To whom then shall ye liken Me, or shall I be equal? Saith the Holy One.

In the verse above, God says, to whom shall ye liken me? Meaning, there is no one or nothing anywhere close to God, in ability, authority, compassion or love, holiness and purity, mercy and power.

There is no appropriate substitute for God. He is God alone!!

The bible says in Exodus 15:11 that

Among the gods, who is like thee? You glorious in holiness, fearful in praising. Doing wonders…

No one can be compared to Jehovah God Almighty. He is in a class of His own and He has no competitors. All the other principalities and powers put together cannot be compared in anyway to Him.

1 Peter 1:15-16
…….Be holy, for I am holy

This verse from the new testament highlights the most prominent characteristic of God that no other deity has – holiness.

God is pure and holy. He is without injustice. He is good and upright.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Pray for grace and strength to be holy as God desires.
