My hiding place

Psalm 32:7
Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shall compass me about with songs of deliverance.

If you need protection, remember what King David said. He said God was his hiding place, he hides or keeps him away from trouble (preserves him from trouble). God also surrounds him with songs of deliverance, He hides him from the enemy. God can do the same for us if we will trust Him and rely on Him only for help.

John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

Jesus reminds his disciples that they would have trouble because He (Jesus their Lord and Master) had trouble. However, there is no need to fear because He has overcome or won the battle. Just as He did, they can also overcome their struggles if they trust Him (have a firm belief in Jesus).

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Lay all your troubles and fears on Jesus. He has overcome the world.
2. Pray and ask Him to give you the grace and strength to live a successful Christian life.

Prayer
Omnipotent God, who is above all and can do all things. Receive your praise and glory. Help me to be an overcomer, in 2021. Amen
