My deliverance
Psalm 34:4
I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears
To deliver means to rescue or set free. The Psalmist in the verse above testifies that he asked the Lord to rescue him and He did.
In times of trouble, remember that the Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1)
Psalm 46, continues to say that because the Lord is our refuge and strength, we need not fear no matter what happens around us. The Lord will certainly deliver us.
Galatians 5:1
I stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
This verse from the new testament reminds us that Christ has already given us freedom through His death and resurrection.
There is no need to struggle to find freedom. We already have it in Jesus’ name. Accept the freedom God gave you by receiving the gift of salvation. The Lord is your deliverance.
God be with you
How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Make sure you have received the gift of salvation and trust God to provide all you need.
Prayer
Let this song be your prayer and confession
I will bless the Lord at all times
His praise shall be in my mouth
My soul shall make its boast in the Lord
Come magnify the Lord With me
Let’s exalt His Holy Name together
He contends with those who contend with me
And He fights against those who fight against me
He takes the shield and the buckler
He rises to my help
And He says to my soul
Yes He says to my soul I ‘m your deliverance.
Amen
