More than gold!!!
Psalm 19:10
The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the Lord are firm and all of them are righteous. They are more precious than gold….

” More than gold” is a metaphor that compares physical wealth to spiritual treasures.

The verse above says the decrees of the Lord or the word of God is more precious than gold. Why?

The word of God

– Directs us in life

– There is a word for every situation we face in life

– It gives us salvation

– And hope for a better life

Psalm 119:105 says
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path

Confirming that the word of God gives direction and hope in life

1 Peter 1:7
These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith, is of greater worth than gold….

This verse from the new testament points to the fact our faith or trust in God is worth more than gold

Accept the gift of salvation today ( Romans 10:9-10) and enjoy the benefits of serving an amazing God
