Mighty Warrior!!
Psalm 24:8
Who is this King of Glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord Mighty in battle

God is a “Mighty Warrior” refers to His supremacy and sovereignty. God rules heaven and the affairs of men. His power is absolute. There is none like Him.

In the verse above, the Psalmist refers to God as being strong and mighty in battle. Meaning , He is a Mighty Warrior.

Psalm 35: 1-2 says

God contends with those who contend against you and fights those fight against you. He does this by taking His spiritual shield and buckler and rising to your help.

God never loses a battle. He always triumphs over His enemies.

Ephesians 6:10-11
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His Might. Put on the whole armour of God …….

This verse from the new testament implies that because we fight not against flesh and blood we need the strength of the Lord.

We need to put on the spiritual armour of God described in Ephesians 6

– The helmet of salvation to protect our head
– The shield of faith to protect you
– The breastplate of righteousness to protect your heart
– Study and apply the word of God which is the sword of the spirit to defend ourselves and attack the evil one
-The belt of truth to hold other parts of the armour in place whilst we fight
– Praying always for strength and direction etc.

Remember to keep your armour in place daily because the evil one is at work 24/7 to snatch you from the kingdom of God
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Keep your armour in place always.
