Magnify the Lord
Psalm 34:3
Oh magnify the Lord with me. And let us exalt His name together

To magnify means to praise highly or glorify. How can we magnify the Lord?

We can praise God highly by:
– Praising Him continually with our words and songs. Psalm 34:1 says
I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
– Glorifying Him with our deeds. Matthew 5:16 says
Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Revelations 4:10-11
And the four and twenty elders fall down before Him that sits on the throne, and worship Him for ever and ever……

This passage from the new testament confirms that we need to praise God without ceasing.

The four and twenty elders praise God without çeasing ( for ever and ever). Cultivate the habit of praising God morning , afternoon and evening.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1.Include praise and worship in your agenda for each day
2. Identify things you can do for others that will glorify God. E.g. Give to the poor and needy.

Let this song be your confession

Majesty, worship His Majesty
Unto Jesus be all glory honor and praise
Majesty , kingdom authority
Flows from His throne unto His own
His anthem raise

So exalt , lift up on high
The name of Jesus
Magnify, come glorify Christ Jesus the King
Majesty , worship His Majesty
Jesus who died
Is now glorified
As King of all kings
Amen
