Lord lift us up
Psalm 23:6
Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Everyone wants to excel in life or achieve the best he/she can. However, sometimes our resources and position in life does not allow us to achieve what we desire.
The verse above says, the goodness (kindness) and mercy (compassion) of God will follow us always no matter our abilities, position or resources in life. Our responsibility is to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of our lives or dedicate our lives to serving God
Isaiah 40:31 says
They that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not grow weary, they shall walk and not faint.
The conditions we need to meet according to the two verses quoted above in order for the Lord to lift us up are:
– Dedicating our lives to serving God
– Waiting on the Lord through prayer and meditation of the word.
Ephesians 3:20
Now unto Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think…..
When we fulfill the conditions listed above then God will lift us up to heights that meet His plans for us.
Now matter how low you are placed now or how high you are placed currently, God can do much much more for you than you can ever imagine.
