Look and Live!
Psalm 121:1-2
I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.

To “look” in biblical terms means to expect. “Look and live” therefore, means expect God to meet your needs at every point in time.

According to the passage above, we should not be discouraged by our circumstances, we should focus our attention on God, the creator of the universe. He will make a way where there is no way.

The bible says in Psalm 91:7-12 that

A thousand shall fall at thy side…but it shall not come near you, only with thy eyes will you see the reward of…..

Meaning, trouble may be brewing all around you but it will not affect you because your hope or expectation is in God.

You only have to look and live.

John 14:1
Let not your heart be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me.

This verse from the new testament implies that believing in the Lord is the same as looking and living.

When you believe in the Lord , you are expecting Him to move on your behalf. Do not be troubled for He will make a way.
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Surrender your life to God by accepting the gift of salvation. Expect God to meet your needs at every point in time ( look and live)

Tis recorded in His word hallelujah
It is only that you look and live

Look and live, my brother live
Look to Jesus now and live
Tis recorded in His word, hallelujah
It is only that you look and live.
