Living this kind of life
Psalm 27:4
One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in His temple.

The kind of life being talked about is the christian life.

The Psalmist says His utmost or greatest desire is to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of his life, beholding the beauty of the Lord( praising and worshiping God) and inquiring in His temple,(getting wisdom from God)

To dwell in house of the Lord involves :
– Praising and worshiping God(Psalm 100:5)
– Studying the Bible ( Joshua 1:8)
– Praying without ceasing
(1 Thessalonians 5:17)

Romans 12:1-2
I beseech you therefore, brethren according to the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God

This passage from the new testament gives another dimension of living the christian life. It also involves making sacrifices of your time, money, energy and other resources ( present your body as a living sacrifice).

In addition to this, you have to live by biblical standards(be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind).

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Study the bible thoroughly in order to know what kind of life to live as a christian.
