Living this kind of life!!
Isaiah 60:1
Arise, shine for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

“Living this kind of life” the kind of life being referred to is the Christian life.

The verse above says, the glory of the Lord has already upon us. Meaning, we have all it takes to live a good Christian life as required by God.

What does God expect of us? Matthew 5:16 says

Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

What are some of these good works

– Giving to the church and the needy
– Helping the afflicted
-Sharing the message of Salvation
– Living an examplary life that will draw others to Christ
– Sharing testimonies that highlights the goodness of the Lord etc.

Galations 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer I that liveth but Christ that lives in me..

This verse from the new testament is trying to show us that by surrendering our lives to Christ when we accept the gift of salvation we have been crucified our old lives and obtained a new life in Christ.

Let all men know that you love living for Christ. It is a good life!!

1. Live to glorify the name of the Lord.

It gets sweeter and sweeter everyday

No more walking
Walking in sinking sand
Cos on Christ the solid rock I stand
Until Jesus comes
And my work on earth is done
I’ve got to say
From now until my dying day
I will be living this kind of life
It’s a good life
