Lift the banner of Christ
Psalm 60:4
Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth

To lift the banner of Christ is to lift His name high by:
-Giving testimonies of our life experiences that show Christ’s greatness and goodness
– Attributing the successes in our lives to His blessings

There is a hymn that says
Stand up, stand up for Jesus
Ye soldiers of the cross
Lift up His royal banner
It must not suffer loss
From victory unto victory
His army shall He lead
Till every foe He’s vanquished
And Christ is Lord indeed.

The song above lists our duties as Christians. Let’s remain faithful to the Lord.

John 12:32
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

The verse above says, if we lift the name of Jesus as we ought to, He will draw all men to Himself.

This implies that apart from sharing the message of salvation we also have to lift the name or banner of Christ. It would make it easier for us to win souls.

1. Think about and plan ways in which you can lift the name of Jesus as you win souls. You can add testimonies of what God has done for you to the message of salvation
