Daily Word

Let me not be confounded
Psalm 22:5
They cried unto thee and were delivered: they trusted in thee and were not confounded.

To be confounded is to be surprised unexpectedly or to have an unpleasant surprise.

There is a Canticle some Methodist churches sing to close services, it ends with the phrase:
O Lord in thee have I trusted, let me never be confounded.

A great man of God said Christians should make prayer a lifestyle. Pray in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Another man of God said the devil and his fallen angels are working 24/7, scheming and planning how they can snatch men and women from the kingdom of God.

Do not stop praying and trusting God or you will be confounded

1 Peter 2:6
Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold I lay in Sion a chief cornerstone, elect, precious: and he that believeth in Him shall not be confounded.

Praying and believing in the power and mercy of God and His Son Jesus Christ is what will keep you and make you an effective Christian.
God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Set a time each day to pray. It is important to pray often, morning, afternoon, and evening.

Prayer
Loving Father, thank you for your grace and mercy. Keep me praying and trusting each day. Amen.
