Know your enemy
Job 1:9-11
Then Satan answered the Lord and said, Doth Job fear God for nought? Hast not thou made a hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side?…..But put forth thine hand, now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.
In the passage above Satan, the accuser of the brethren and our greatest enemy is at work. Doing what he does best. Making false accusations.
Our greatest enemy uses agents for his operations. We gain nothing by fighting and cursing humans. They are not the real cause of our woes.
Like Ephesians 6:12 says
We wrestle not against flesh and blood ……
Therefore, we must learn to use our spiritual weapon-, prayer, the word, praise and worship etc to fight our battles and overcome our tests and trials
Physical or verbal combat will not help
James 1:13
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempted He any man.
This verse from the new testament says God does not tempt us. Like the case of Job, his trial was Satan’s idea to test His faith
God is not our enemy, He loves us and wants the best for us. (Jeremiah 29:11)
Lets keep trusting Him and serving Him faithfully.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Trust God to see you through your trials. Never give up your faith because of trials.
