Jesus gives abundant life
Isaiah 53:6
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

Before Jesus came we were all lost and sinking deep in our sin. Jesus came to redeem us and reconcile us to God. The sin of Adam and Eve had created a rift in man’s relationship with God.

John 10:10
The thief cometh not but to steal, and to kill and to destroy: I am come that they might have life. and that they might have it more abundantly.

Jesus delivered us from the grip of the evil one who only comes to steal, to kill and to destroy. Jesus atoned for our sin, put us in a better relationship with God and gave us eternal life. (John 3:16). In short, He gave us abundant life.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Make sure you are saved. Be double sure. You can contact a Pastor in a nearby church to take you through the salvation process.
2. Study the bible and pray daily. Go to church frequently as well.
3. Live to please God.

Dear Lord, thank you for the gift of another day. Help me to live to please you and enjoy abundant life in Christ. Amen.
