Jesus calms the storm
Psalm 110:1
The Lord says to my Lord: ” Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies a footstool.

A songwriter wrote:

He holds my life, Jesus the man of calvary
Whether day or night, rain or shine, He leads the way
He stills the raging storms of my life, and He gives me peace, perfect peace
I will praise His name, because, He has done so much for me.

The verse above and the song both show how Jesus calms the storms in our lives. He always takes care of our challenges and brings perfect peace into our lives.

Mark4:39
And He awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, ” Peace be still” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

When you feel helpless in face of challenging circumstances, turn to Jesus in prayer and He will calm the storm.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Learn to call on the Lord first in prayer when you need help.
2. Be patient and wait for the move of God
3. Cultivate an atmosphere of Thanksgiving and praise whilst you wait in expectation for your miracle.

Dear Lord, thank you for blessing and keeping me throughout the week. Please calm all the storms in my life. Amen
