Jehovah Tsikenu
Jeremiah 23:6
In His days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is His name whereby He shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
To be righteous means being morally justifiable or doing what is right.
Jehovah Tsikenu, means The Lord Our Righteousness. The bible says, our righteousness is like filthy rags before God. However, the work Jesus did on the cross, made us right with God,
John 17:25
Our righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
This verse says God our Father is righteous and because He made us in His image and sent Christ to die to save us we can also be righteous
God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. As you spend time with God each morning (quiet time) and in the evening, remember to ask God to help you do what is right.
2. Make a conscious effort to stay away from anything that might lead you to sin.
Prayer
Jehovah Tsikenu, The Lord our righteousness. Help me stay away from sin and do what is right.
