Jehovah ” Overdo”!!
Joshua 1:5
….. I will never leave you nor forsake you
“Jehovah “Overdo” means the God who does much much more than we can ever ask or think. Meaning, God can make even our wildest imagination come true and more
– As a student you were expecting a just a pass in your examination because you were not feeling well. But you had a distinction or you were on the merit list
-As a news reporter , your report was mistakenly deleted and you had a just a few hours to re- type before the deadline. Suddenly you find about three quarters of the report you typed earlier on , under another file name
– As an ambassador of Christ you re- schedule an outdoor program because there are signs of a rain storm. But even before you make an announcement , the weather clears and the sun comes out
These are all examples of situations where God does more than we expected. ( Jehovah “Overdo”)
The verse above says God will never leave us nor forsake us
This is confirmed in Psalm 34:1
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in the time of trouble
Put all your trust in God, He remains faithful even when we are not.
Ephesians 3:20
Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ever ask or think…..
This verse from the new testament is a re- affirmation that God can do much , much more than we can ever imagine
Accept the gift of salvation ( Romans 10:9-10). He will change your life. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says
If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed away. Behold , all things have become new.
God be with you
How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Trust in God and do what is right
