It was’nt easy!!
Psalm 27:13
I would have fainted
Unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord.

“It was’nt easy” presupposes that what was done was not as simple and uncomplicated as it seems. Most people , believe Jesus was able to face his crucifixion and death because He felt no pain. It was easy.

But one of the seven words on the cross confirms that this was not true . He said Father Father why have you forsaken me ” Eli, Eli Labathsacthani”
( Matthew 27:46)

The Psalmist in the verse above described a similar situation. He had tried all he knew but his problems remained.

Scripture says in Psalm 27:14 that

Be strong, take courage and wait for the Lord

Meaning, in such situations when you feel God has forsaken you, pray for strength and grace and wait for the goodness of the Lord to be manifested in your life

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me

This verse from the new testament is a reminder that we can all things, even those that seem difficult when we rely on the strength and grace of God.

Accept the gift of salvation today ( Romans 10:9-10) and receive grace and strength to become more than a conqueror ( Romans 8:37)
