It is well!!
Joshua 1:9
Have I not told you to be strong and of good courage? Do not be dismayed for I am with you whithersoever thou goest. ( paraphrased)
The verse above says no matter what we may be going through, we should be strong and of good courage because God is with us wherever we go, to give us the grace to perform and protect us from all evil.
When you read through the bible, in both the old and the new testament there are examples that confirm that those that are commissioned by God for great tasks face several obstacles and challenges.
In the old Testament Nehemiah faced opposition from Sanballat and Tobiah when he tried to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. This story can be found in the book of Nehemiah in the bible.
When we come to the new testament, we find that the Apostle Paul also faced a lot of opposition in his missionary journeys to take the Gospel to the Gentiles. He was beaten, imprisoned, shipwrecked etc. This can be found in the book of Acts.
As Christians trying to fulfill our mission as ambassadors of Christ, we will all face opposition and challenges. We need not worry, it is not uncommon to Christians, It is well.
John 14:1
Let not your heart be troubled. Believe in God and believe also in me.
This verse from the new testament encourages us once more not to be troubled when we are persecuted as Christians.
It is well because God will ensure that all will be well.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Never be discouraged by opposition and challenges. Press on
2. Never give up your faith because of persecution.
