I worship you
Psalm 100:2
Worship the Lord with joy; come before Him with happy songs

In my opinion, worship is expressing your deep appreciation, love and respect to God for who He is and for the great things He has done in your life.

In the verse above, the Psalmist is encouraging us to worship the Lord with joy and happy songs.

A songwriter said

When I look into your holiness
When I gaze into your loveliness
When all things that surround me become shadows in the light of you
I worship you
I worship you
The reason I live is to worship you

Every christian should love to worship God as often as you can because it draws you closer to God

John 4:24 says
God is Spirit and those that worship Him, must worship in spirit and in truth.

God knows every detail about each of us. We cannot hide anything from Him, not even our thoughts or imaginations.

Romans 12:1
I appeal to you therefore brothers, by the mercies of God, present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable, which is your spiritual worship

Presenting yourself as a living sacrifice involves surrendering your will and wishes to God. God should come first in all you do
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Seek to please God in all you do.
2. Make a conscious effort to worship God in Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs each day.

Prayer
Lord, help me to worship you always from a sincere heart.
