I will rejoice in you my Lord!!!
Habakkuk 3:18
Yet, I will rejoice in you my Lord. I will joy in the God of my salvation

“I will rejoice in you my Lord” is a confession of faith. Which means, my rejoicing in the Lord is not based on my circumstances but in the goodness of the Lord.

That is the message the Prophet Habakkuk is giving in the verse quoted above

Scripture also says in Psalm 23:6 that

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever

Meaning, since my joy is based on the goodness of the Lord, God will ensure that all is well with me all the days of my life

Philippians 4:4-5
Rejoice in the Lord always, again I say rejoice. Let all men know your forbearance

This verse from the new testament is an encouragement to all believers, to learn to rejoice in the Lord at all times no matter their circumstances

1 Peter 5:7 says
Cast all your cares unto Him, for He cares for you

Accept the gift of salvation today ( Romans 10:9-10) and receive the joy of the Lord, which is your strength

God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?

1. Pray for grace and strength to obey God’s commands always.
