I will give you rest!!
Psalm 23:2-3
He leadeth me beside the still waters, He restoreth my soul…. ( paraphrased)

“I will give you rest” means I will relieve you from the issues that torment you. I will give you peace in the midst of chaos.

In the verse above, the good Shepherd our Lord and Savior promises to revive or restore our soul. What does this mean?

He will give new hope and strength to our inner man.

Scripture also says in Isaiah 26:3 that

He will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him

Which implies that, when you put all your hope in God, He gives you peace even in the midst of chaos.

Matthew 12:28-30
Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you…….

This passage from the new testament assures us that we can find hope and strength in God in times when we feel overwhelmed by our circumstances.

1. Trust in God and do what is right according to His word.
