I know what prayer can do!!
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their son a nd heal their land.

Prayer can simply be defined as talking to God. Testimonies from the bible and individual’s testimonies confirm that prayer can do wonders.

Moses prayed for food and water for the Israelites in the desert and God provided it. The desert is dry land no food grows there and there is no water.

The Apostle Peter and the Apostle John prayed for the lame man at the Beautiful gate to be healed and he was healed.

The verse above says prayer can heal a land that is experiencing multiple problems, economic, political social etc. Prayer can heal our land.

Scripture says in James 5:16 that

The effective and fervent prayer of the righteousman availeth much. (paraphrased)

Meaning, prayer can do great things. It changes things.

Matthew 9:37-38
The harvest is indeed plentiful…. Pray for the Lord of the harvest to send more labourers…..

This verse from the new testament shows us a very important activity that we should pray about.

God wants all men to be saved, so let’s pray that He sends more people to harvest souls.

1. Pray without ceasing because prayer changes things.
