I give you thanks!!
Psalm 136:1
Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good and His mercies endure forever.

To give thanks is to make a deliberate effort to show your appreciation to God in various ways:
-You can offer praise and thanks through words and songs (Psalm 100:4)
-You can give a thanks offering in cash or electronic transfer ( Malachi 3:10)
– You can give cash, food, clothes etc. to the poor and needy(whatsoever you do to the least of your brethren you do unto me – Matthew 25:40))
– You can volunteer to work in the house of God, cleaning, setting up instruments, prison ministry etc. ( Matthew 5:16)

1 Thessalonians 5:18
In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

This verse from the new testament says give thanks for everything, the good and bad situations because God has a way of setting us up for good success after we have been through uncomfortable situations.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Give thanks in all situations believing that God will turn unpleasant situations around.
