He who finds a wife , finds a good thing!!!
Proverbs 18:22.
He who finds a wife, finds a good thing

The emphasis in the verse above is each person finding his or her own partner. Most societies in the world today however still prefer arranged marriages and that is the cause of many marriages breaking down.

If you find your partner yourself you easily overlook his or her faults. But if it is imposed on you. You find faults with everything the person does. Even good qualities look like faults to you

Scripture says that

Love covers a multitude of sins

But in arranged marriages it is difficult for this scripture to hold

1 Corinthians 13: 13
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three, but greatest of these is charity.

This verse from the new testament says love is the greatest. The love explained in 1 Corinthians 13 is agape or unconditional love.

The perfect example of this love is the love God has for us His children.

But relationship experts add that there two other kinds of love

Philio or brotherly love , that is love between blood relations.

Then there is eros the marital kind of love based on attraction. Arranged marriages may not be based on attraction making it easy to disintegrate.
