He holds the future!!!
Psalm 90:4
For a thousand years in your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, or as a watch in the night

“He holds the future” means God is in charge of our future. He decides what happens. Like the verse above says His timing is much different from ours

Therefore, we need to be patient when we place our requests before Him. He works quietly behind the scenes until He is ready to manifest what we ask for

Jeremiah 29:11 says

For I know the thoughts that I think towards you says the Lord. Thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope ( paraphrased)

According to the verse above, we need not worry when God holds our future. He has something good in store for everyone.

2 Peter 3:8
But do not forget this one thing dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years

This verse from the new testament is is almost the same as the one from Psalms.

It reaffirms the fact that God’s timing is different. Lets learn to wait patiently for Him to move on our behalf

Accept the gift of salvation today ,( Romans 10:9-10) and receive God’s best plan for your life.
