He has brought us out of darkness !!!
Psalm 23:4
Ye though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil
For thou art with me
Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me

” He has brought us out of darkness” Darkness in this context refers to misfortune, calamity, catastrophes. God has delivered us from all these situations of darkness.

The verse above says even in the midst of trouble God comforts and guides us.

Scripture also says in Psalm 46:1 that

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in the time of trouble

God will never leave us alone to suffer and perish. He will guide us to freedom and success if we keep trusting Him.

Matthew 5:14
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid

This verse from the new testament says we are the light of the world

Meaning, accepting the gift of salvation makes us the light of the world. We are to share the light of God which represents His goodness, grace, love and mercy with the rest of the world.
