Guide me Lord
Proverbs 3-5-6
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths

According to the passage above, if you want God to guide or direct your paths then you have to:
– Trust God completely or rely on God only for your needs
– Learn not to depend only on your own understanding ( wisdom and abilities)
-Seek God’s approval in all you do that is tell God about everything you want to do and ask for His help

The bible also says in Psalm 37:23 that

The steps of a good man are ordered by God

Meaning, God guides or orders the steps of the righteous who always seek to please God ( good man)

Matthew 6:13
…..and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory for ever and ever

This verse from the new testament is part of the Lord’s prayer. It will be ideal for everyone to start the day by saying the Lord’s prayer.

Particularly, the part that asks for God to lead us away from temptation or challenges, and guide us to success and excellence.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Begin each day with a prayer, if you are not used to praying or do not know how to pray , learn the Lord’s prayer from Matthew 6:9-13.
