Grow in the Lord
Proverbs 1:5
A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsel

There is a Sunday school song that says:
Read your bible
Pray everyday
If you want to grow.
I believe most people know this song.

It works not only for children but for adults as well. We all need to develop and grow in our christian life because God needs mature Christians to handle serious kingdom assignments like delivering demon possessed people, teaching the gospel to all classes of people and all tribes in the world.

Like the verse above says we all need to read the word, listen to word and increase our knowledge to make us more effective Christians.

2 Peter 3:18
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Just as you would not want your baby to stay as a child forever, God wants each of us to grow
In the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ so He can trust us with more assignments.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Study the word and pray everyday.
2. Make sure you do what the bible says as well.

Loving Father, receive all the praise and honor you deserve. Help me to me to grow as a christian so I can serve you better. Amen.
