Goodness and Mercy!!!
Psalm 23:6
Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever

” Goodness and mercy” refers to the kindness and compassion of God. In the verse above, the Psalmist says the kindness and compassion of God is available for us always ( Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life)

The Bible also says in Lamentations 3:22-23 that

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. His mercies never will come to an end. They are new every morning, Great is thy faithfulness

Meaning, there are fresh supplies of God’s kindness and compassion every morning to meet our needs

Philippians 4:6-7

Have no anxiety about anything
But in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving
Let your requests
Be made known
unto God
And the peace of God
Which surpasses all understanding
Will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus

This passage from the new testament says, we need not fret nor worry about our needs.

All we have to do is to make them known to God and He will ensure that our needs are met.

Accept the gift of salvation today ( Romans 10:9-10) and enjoy the kindness and compassion of God all the days of your life

1. Pray for grace and strength to obey God’s commands always.
