God rewards those who diligently seek Him
Numbers 14:11
And the Lord said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? And how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?

Seeking God diligently means doing all that is possible to get closer to God and have close fellowship with Him.

One of the major reasons why God created man was to have fellowship with him. In Genesis 3:8 we are told Adam and Eve heard the voice of the Lord in the garden in the cool of the day and they hid because they had sinned. This verse implies that God had been visiting them frequently each day to have fellowship with them.

God’s desire for fellowship with humans is also emphasized in the verse from Numbers. God wanted man to believe in Him, rely on Him, respect Him and look up to Him for everything.

When we do this, God is pleased with us and gives us rewards

Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he that cometh to God must believe that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him

This verse from the new testament re- emphasizes the fact , God wants us to believe in Him without any doubt. That is the only way to please Him.

Determine to build a close relationship with God. Psalm 100:4 says
Enter His gates with thanksgiving in your heart and into His court with praise….

When you enter God’s gates and courts, you get into His presence. If want to get close to God learn to thank and praise Him always.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Study the word to know how to thank and praise God. Read and memorize the Psalms.

Let this be your song

I will enter His gates with Thanksgiving in my heart
I will enter His courts with praise
I will sing this is the day that the Lord has made
I will rejoice for He has made me glad
Amen
