God never changes
Malachi 3:6
For I am the Lord, I change not;…..

When you think about what God did for and through biblical characters like Daniel, the three Hebrew young men, Moses, Abraham, Ruth, Esther, Deborah, Paul, Peter, James, John, Tabitha, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of Jesus and many others, you wonder whether God still performs such miracles.

The verse above says, God never changes, therefore He can and still performs such a miracles. Think of real present day life stories like:
– Scientist finding a vaccine for COVID-19. Scientist developing drugs that sustains the lives of people with diseases like HIV, diabetes, blood pressure etc
– God keeping us humans alive in an environment where the ozone layer is almost completely depleted
– The invention of technology like microwaves, rice cookers, washing machines etc. Which perform tasks that humans take a lot of energy and time to complete almost instantly.

These are examples from science and medicine but we also have miracles in technology today that makes preaching the gospel a lot more easier and faster.

If Jesus could minister to 5000 people in His time without microphones, today we have microphones, social media and the internet through which we can reach millions of people in a split second.

Our work is a lot easier now as christians, we cannot complain and we have no excuses.

The bible says in Ephesians 3:20 that

God is able to do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask or think. He can meet our physical, spiritual and emotional needs much more than we can imagine. He can also use us much more than we can imagine to minister His word.

Hebrews 13: 8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

This verse from the new testament confirms the one from Malachi 3:6. We have a God who still performs wonders. Let’s trust Him completely and follow His commandments.

1. Trust in God and always do what is right.

Just take a look
At where you’ve been
And where you are now
Hasn’t He always come through for you
He is the same now as then
Don’t you know God never changes
You may not know when
You may not know how
But He will do it again.
