God confirms and fulfills His word
Isaiah 55:11
So shall My word not go forth and come back void but it shall accomplish what it was sent forth to do(paraphrased)

The word or commands of God contain a lot of power. This is confirmed by the creation story in Genesis 1 and Genesis 2.

Whatever God called forth, came into being. The words and commands of God in the Bible also contain a lot of power. This is because God confirms and fulfills His word.

The verse above says the word of God always accomplishes what it was sent forth to do.

Numbers 23:19 says
God is not man that He should lie or the son of man that He should repent. Had He said and will He not do? ( Paraphrased)

For instance if the word of God says
The Lord is your shepherd and you shall not want
Then when you confess this promise over your life. God will ensure that it is fulfilled

Matthew 6:10
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven.

This verse from the new testament is part of the Lord’s prayer, Jesus taught His disciples.

It declares that the will of God should be done here on earth as it is done in heaven. This statement should be part of our prayer each morning.

God will certainly watch over His word to perform.
