Give honor to whom it is due!!
Malachi 1:6
A son honors
his father, and a slave his master. If I am a father, where is the honor due me? If I am a master, where is the respect due me?

“Give honor to whom honor is due” means acknowledge those who need to be recognized. Give credit to those who deserve it. That is the central theme in the verse above

Nobody succeeds in life without helpers. A popular TV Pastor, Joel Osteen once said in a message that

God has a purpose for everybody’s life. And He has already put in place people to help you.

Parents who are extra careful and strict to show you the right path to follow. And siblings to help you along the way

A teacher in school who takes particular interest in helping you excel in your studies

A boss and colleagues at work that help you develop your career

A spouse and children who criticize you genuinely to help you become a better person

A Pastor or spiritual leaders who give you opportunities to make your spiritual gifts shine

Friends and christian brethren who encourage you along the way

But you must always remember that it is God who grants you favor with all these helpers. Therefore, He deserves the ultimate praise.

Psalm 34:1 says

I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth

Romans 13:7

Render to all what is due them: taxes to whom taxes are due, respect to whom respect is due, fear to whom fear is due , honor to whom honor is due

This verse from the new testament reaffirms the one from the old testament (Malachi 1:6)

Remember to give honor to those whom honor is due always
