Isaiah 61:1

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because He has anointed me to preach good tidings to the meek…..

Humans love to associate with good news or news that brings joy.

Perhaps , that is why the word of God is sometimes refered to as good news. It brings joy and hope to the world.

A songwriter once said “Get all excited” and tell everyone about Jesus. Your joy and enthusiasm will attract people to Christ . Humans love to associate with joy

The verse above gives details on what God asked the Prophet Isaiah to do for him. Preach the good news to bring liberty to all.

That is what God wants every christian to do, preach the word and preach it with joy.

Scripture also says in Joshua 1:8 that

When you study and meditate on God’s word always and you obey or live by it. It will brings you prosperity and good success. ( paraphrased)

Live by the word and share it with joy with others

John 9:25

He answered and said, whether He be a sinner or not, I do not know . One thing I know, once I was blind but now I see

This verse from the new testament is the greatest testimony anyone can give about Jesus

Jesus healed a blind man. And the Pharisees and Sadducees came accusing Jesus for all sorts of crimes.

The healed blind man said, well I cannot confirm or disapprove these accusations. I can only testify of one thing, once I was blind but now I see.

You could also give your own testimony. People say a host of things against christians and the christian religion.

But you can say to that discouraged man or woman. Once I had no hope in life but now I have accepted the gift of salvation and I have the hope of eternal life in Christ. You can also do the same.
